As time when I on though I met several people and emailed quite a few.I had been a member of FF for about 9 months and was begining to lose hope. I decided to put my picture on and one day in September that changed. I got an email from someone I knew was going to be special. He sent me a card since his account had not yet been approved. It was the one with the teddybear with a rose. I thought it was very sweet and had to see what this man was all about. We emailed back and forth for about a month when we decided to meet. When he came to my door (by the way, he was the only one I trusted to do this with) I was totally overwhelmed. He was very attractive and very MY type. The man of my dreams had come to life. We had a wonderful date and it lasted 14 hours! We made plans to see each other again and it only gets better. He lives about an hour and a half away from me but he is willing to drive to see me almost everyday. I can't believe I have met this wonderful person whom I am going to spend the rest of my life with on the internet! This proves that if you look you will find someone for you, there is someone out there for everyone. The best part is we are going to have a baby in July! All three of my children simply adore him and now we will have our very own. It has all happened very fast but I believe everything happens for a reason and I have wanted this for so long. I wanted to feel that smile when the one I love appears even though my heart may be heavy, he lightens it with just his presence. It is a wonderful unexplainable feeling of uncontrollable passion. I love him so much I can't keep my hands off him no matter how hard I try. I want to hold him tightly and never let him go. I could kiss and hug him for hours and it would never be enough. He makes me feel loved, protected, safe and I have a complete sense of trust with him. He makes me feel like I am the only person in the world. I had been a member of Friendfinder for a couple of months before I received my first e-mail from Vicky. I had looked at a couple of similar sites before but had never been that impressed by what I saw. I thought that I had nothing to lose by replying, even though I didn't expect anything to come of it. Two days later we met for the first time and, from the first moment that we laid eyes on each other, we both knew that this was going to be something special. 7 weeks later we were engaged, a month after that we went away on holiday together to Greece and as soon as we got back we moved in together. Now I am, in reality, a very shy person and I would never had had the nerve to approach Vicky if I had seen her in a bar or somewhere like that. Being able to talk to her via e-mail first really helped me to get over that difficult "first contact" and gave me the confidence that I needed to meet her without feeling too uncomfortable. I sent an e-mail to Paul and got a response back, we had the same sense of humor and we"clicked" almost immediately. After about a month we decided to meet. I took one look at Paul and I melted. We had so much fun and not even a week later started dating.Its been 7 months and things are wonderful. From taking walks together, cooking together, to going out on the town we have so much fun. Almost everyone who has seen us together has said to me that they can see the love we have in our eyes. Paul has done so many things for me as far as materialistic things to emotionally and he stands behind me 100%. We recently took a trip to Florida and while in the pool, the ring that he had gotten for me fell off. He told me not to worry and that he would get me an even nicer one and one with more meaning but yet I felt awful because this was one of the first things that he had given me. The chances of finding it were slim in such a big pool but he just happened to look down and there is was at his feet. He reached down to get it, and came over to me with a smile on his face and told me he had found my ring. I will always remember this because just like he was meant to find that ring we were meant to find one another on Friend Finder. I had met one man in person but an online woman friend of his became outraged and spread vicious rumors and lies about me. I knew this wasnt the place for me if someone could be so hateful over a simple meeting. Then a few days later, in May 2001, a man said hello to me in a chat room. I wasnt much interested after all I had been thru, but he seemed different. We talked and had a wonderful time. The next day he sent me an email telling me how much he enjoyed our chat. That impressed me very much. We talked on the phone and found that we had so much in common. I found myself thinking about him constantly. We talked every day, then several times a day. I am in Florida and he is in Nebraska, but we didnt let distance stop us from getting to know each other better. On June 25th, he came to Florida to spend a week with me. As soon as he walked off the airplane I knew he was the man I had been waiting all my life for. We had not exchanged pictures so this was our first time seeing each other. We had a wonderful week together. He has made me happier than I could have ever imagined! In 10 days, on August 15th I will be flying to Nebraska and we will be getting married on August 18th. I am so glad I didnt give up on Friend Finder. I might have missed finding my true love. I always knew he was out there somewhere, but who could have known that Friend Finder would have brought us together. Well, everything start when I looked by my side and I saw that the world was getting crazy. I know that people say that this is stupid but: du you really see what's going on in the world? People die every 5 second for an accident, illness or a murder. Young people don't live they life like they have to do, some of them even go to school or don't even know how to read or write. Soemtimes I feel very sad becouse I don't know what to do to help just a little, and today is one of those days! When I came to this web, I was just looking for a nice friendship, but everybody always try to talk about sex! what's wrong? sex it's the only thing in this world? I got an idea: there is not a real friend. But they I realice that's not true, I have one, the best in the world! And then I started thinking: What can I do to help? world will change? Can people me more responsable? Can I trust in someone? What I can do with every bad feeling I have everyday? WEll, I have many choses: I can learn for every problem and try to be more positive, help as many people I can and try to make people to understand what really it's going on. So, this is just a simple note about something that everybody knows but don't really want to care about. will we be like them? An email arrived, asking me if i would like to correspond, since that day, we have emailed non stop, also phoned each other, twice a day. When I first joined FF I said I would never meet anyone that I chat to because I had heard so many stories about things going wrong but my opinion has changed now !! We broke up for a while but kept in touch with emails and text. I hadn't even wanted to meet him...he sounded lovely by email but his photograph wasn't what I had been looking for...when I met him...his big eyes and big smile added to his personality...he is wonderful. We are now dating and get on extremely well...in fact 6 months down the line..I feel I could have found nearly Mr Right...and it's all thanks to Find A Friend.
